Rod and Gun Club

June 29, 2017

Exciting news from Likely Archery, Rod & Gun Club.  The range is now open for members.  New locks have been put on the gate.  Keys are available to all members and can be picked up from Marvin Doney at 250-790-2018 or Alf Juthens at 250-790-2133.  Deposit on key is $5.00. Locks will be changed every year from now on and deposit will only be required if you do not return your old key.  Please follow Range Etiquette rules for a safe shoot.  Happy shooting.

Victoria Day Weekend

May 2019

Parade and Celebration in Downtown Likely on Victoria Day every May.  Local parade,  visiting dignitaries, Stampede Princesses, antique cars, kids sports day and the start of the annual Fish Derby.

The Derby runs May long weekend from Saturday till Monday. It takes place on Quesnel Lake only with the weigh-ins at Cedar Point Park.

Camp Likely

Camp Likely is a favourite kids summer camp running from July to August. Camp Likely is a Bible-based children’s summer camp. www.camplikely.com/registration

Unlikely Paddlefest

Third weekend in September, on Quesnel River and Quesnel Lake is Paddlefest time. Paddlers worldwide converge on the hamlet of Likely for one of the best river rafting experiences of their lives. The 2017 Unlikely Paddlefest will be held September 15-18. Halloween Fireworks

October 31, at Cedar Point Provincial Park, a yearly spectacular fireworks display is the highlight of the night. The Chamber of Commerce collects donations year round to build a bigger and better display yearly. Christmas Craft Fair

The first Saturday in December, the Likely School is the place to shop for Christmas.  The Community and local crafters gather with the finest of gifts and goodies to temp you.  Local wild berry jams, smoked fish, beef jerky, homemade pies and breads, oriental cuisine, knitted hats, wood work items. Contact Likely School for further information.
