Rod and Gun Club Annual Dinner
Guess what’s for dinner? The Rod and Gun Club hosts a “Wild Game” dinner every year in March or April. Come out to sample wilderness cuisine at its finest. The date and time to be determined.
Victoria Day Weekend
Parade and Celebration in Downtown Likely on Victoria Day every May. Local parade, visiting dignitaries, Stampede Princesses, antique cars, kids sports day and the start of the annual Fish Derby.
Victoria Day Fishing Derby
The Derby runs May long weekend from Saturday till Monday. It takes place on Quesnel Lake only with the weigh-ins at Cedar Point Park.

Third weekend in September, on Quesnel River and Quesnel Lake is Paddlefest time. Paddlers worldwide converge on the hamlet of Likely for one of the best river rafting experiences of their lives. Visit their Facebook page
October 31, at Cedar Point Provincial Park, a yearly spectacular fireworks display is the highlight of the night. The Chamber of Commerce collects donations year round to build a bigger and better display yearly. Christmas Craft Fair
The first Saturday in December, the Likely School is the place to shop for Christmas. The Community and local crafters gather with the finest of gifts and goodies to temp you. Local wild berry jams, smoked fish, beef jerky, homemade pies and breads, oriental cuisine, knitted hats, wood work items. Contact Likely School for further information.
